With the introduction of the CARDINAL 120 range, SOMMER CABLE is embarking on a new direction in the field of active components and audio tools. We had tried and proven designs which have reworked into a new range with a new housing concept. We believe this range meets the highest electronic, mechanical and audiophile requirements.
DVM-120-DIH High-impedance Dual Direct Box – the specialist!
The simple and reliable way of adapting even very demanding sources to microphone inputs. The special high-quality Lundahl transformers with 22 dB or 28 dB attenuation are suitable for high input levels and stand out by their ultra low distortion and
neutral response even at very low frequencies. Each
channel has an input with two bridged jack sockets; if
necessary, the input and output grounds can be linked
with the ground lift switch. The output signals are on
male XLR connectors.
The I/P impedance switch is used to switch between the normal input impedance of 280 kO and the
high impedance of 560 kO. In the HIGH position, the
design-related higher attenuation of 28 dB will occur.
